Zeba obtained her LLB from the London School of Economics in 1997. She is a licenced legal practitioner in both the UK and Canada, being called to the Bar in Ontario in 2001. Zeba began her career as a civil litigator with the Ministry of the Attorney General. She took leave from the practice of law in 2003 to focus on her young family and she returned to full time practice in 2013.
Prior to joining Berry Gage, Zeba worked in a prominent litigation firm specialising exclusively in family law. Zeba appears regularly before the Ontario Court of Justice and the Superior Court of Justice on often complex and very high conflict matters, where she has honed her advocacy and negotiation skills.
She is able to provide practical and effective independent legal advice in all areas of family law and is expanding her area of expertise to include estates, trusts, wills and marriage contracts.
Zeba zealously advocates for her clients and has developed a practical client focused approach to her practice, preferring as much as possible, to resolve matters out of court. Zeba is mindful of the impact separation can have upon children and family members, to that end she is diligent in representing her clients with compassion and reason.
